Ramadan is almost here and many home-chefs will be busy with plans for blessed Suhoor and Iftar meals in the coming month, Alhamdulillah! While the usual preparations may take shape, most cooks are also thinking about the additional challenges that come with Ramadan when it comes during the long, hot days of summer!

IQRA’ is teaming up with chef, author, and fellow Muslimah, Yvonne Maffei, of the reknown “My Halal Kitchen” http://myhalalkitchen.com/ to share a cooking demo and tips from her latest book, “Summer Ramadan Cooking” in IQRA’ Book Center on Devon. The new book will be available for purchase at IQRA’ Book Center, and Yvonne will be available for questions, tips, and signing!
